Q. What is FavourClub?
FavourClub is a totally new concept in Community Web Sites, where members do Favours for one another, exchanging Electronic Tokens(eTokens) when the Favour has been completed. Members can submit their own Favour Requests and Offers, and using the FavourBoard browse other Members Favours, making Requests or Offers of Help to them,Q. How do I Join?
Q. How do I Ask A Favour?
Follow these simple steps to ask a Favour....
- Click the 'Ask' button and complete the Form – for details of how to fill in the form click here
- Wait for Responses from other members to your request and select which member (Buddy) you wish to complete the Favour for you
- Wait for the selected Buddy to Complete the Favour and when completed exchange eTokens with the Buddy
- Leave Feedback for the Buddy
Q. How do I do Offer Favours to Other Members?
Everyone has some skills to offer on FavourClub - Posting offers on our FavourBoard allows other members to see what type of Favours you are willing to help with - when another Member Asks a Favour, he can search through the current offers on the FavourBoard to match his Favour Request with your posted Offers, then select you as a Buddy for his Request.Q. How do I Do a Favour for another Member?
If you want to help someone else and build up your eTokens, follow these steps.- Click on the 'Favour Board' tab, select a Search Type of 'Search Requests on FavourBoard' then press the 'Search Button' to search through all the Requests, selecting one you might be able to help with and press the 'Offer Help' button.
- Alternatively you can check your 'My ToDo List' or 'My Favours' to see if other Members have selected you as a Buddy.
- Wait for the Owner to select you as a Helper Buddy
- Agree completion of the Favour with Owner and complete it as agreed.
- When completed, select the Favour from your My ToDo list and mark the Favour as Complete and Request Payment
- Await payment from the Owner and Accept Payment when notified by email
- Leave Feedback for the Owner.

Q. What types of Favours can I ask?
You can ask anything within the Terms and Conditions of FavourClub. Favours fall into 3 categories:Q. What is the FavourBoard?
The FavourBoard is a public Notice Board where members can post Favours which they want to be seen by all members. Members can search the FavourBoard for Offers or Requests, then respond to them by asking or offering help to the owner of the FavourQ. What is a Public Favour?
A Public Favour is one which is posted on the Public FavourBoard and any Member can view and respond to. When you post a Favour on the Public Favourboard, you can target your Favour at a specific location, so that members browsing the Favour Board can filter their results to see Favours local to their home. e.g. If you lived in Edinburgh, there would be no point in borrowing a lawnmower from someone living in France!Q. What is a Private Favour?
A Private Favour is one which you only wish trusted members to see. Private Favours will not be seen on the Public Favourboard, only by those members you select as buddies. When selecting Members to view your Private Favour, you can select a single member or a Buddy List. These Buddies will be able to see the Favour using their 'My ToDo List' or 'My Favours' List.Q. What is an eToken?
An eToken is how you reward a member for Doing a Favour for you. When a favour is completed you send eToken(s) to the buddy who helped you out. eTokens are stored in your FavourBank Account.
Q. How many eTokens should I offer for my Favour?
This is entirely up to you but a guide is published in the Help System . You do not need to keep to this, however you should be aware that you may not get anyone to help with a Favour if you are not offering a suitable reward. Likewise if you ask for too big a reward for an Offer, you may not get any members Requesting the Favour from you.Q. I need someone to do a Favour for me but I need to make sure that I can trust the person - How can I do this?
There may be many favours which you do not want everyone to see. An example of this if asking for someone to look after your children - YOU CERTAINLY WOULD NOT WANT JUST ANYONE TO DO THIS. Another example would be if you want someone to look after you house whilst your on holiday. Again you would not want everyone to know about this, otherwise you might come home to find you 46inch plasma screen gone!. With these types of favour you would only want trusted friends to know about these favours. FavourClub solves this by allowing you to create a Private Favour. A private Favour is only available to your selected buddies - it will appear in their Buddy Request List and their My ToDo List but it will not be visible on the Public FavourBoard.Q. Can I ask someone in another Country to do a Favour?
Yes, You can ask anyone, anywhere in the world to do a Favour for you. There may well be an instance where someone abroad can help you. e.g. For all those Brit's living abroad and missing their Tetley Tea Bags, why not ask someone to post you out a box? You can target your favour as well which means you can specify a location anywhere in the world where you want your Favour to be seen. e.g. If you lived in the UK, there would be no point in asking someone in the US to borrow a ladder!Q. Who or What is a Buddy?
A buddy is a member who is linked to a Favour you have Requested or Offered - this may beNote - not all Buddies linked to a Favour need complete the Favour, only buddies that you select to Complete it for you.
Q. What is a Favour Circle?
A Favour Circle is a group of family, friends, work colleagues, members you trust or with similiar interests, who you wish to share your Favour with. When you have logged into FavourClub you can 'Enter a Circle' - when you have entered a circle, any Favours you create will only be seen on the FavourBoard by members of the circle. Likewise, when you search the FavourBoard, you will only see Favours created by members of the circle.You can Enter a Circle or manage these circles by clicking on the 'My Circles' tab.
